How to Delegate Work to AI (Even Without a Team)

Hi there,
Most people don't get to delegate work until quite late in their careers. You need a team first, and that takes time. But now you can delegate work to AI from day one.
Everyone now has access to something they can hand work off to. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, whatever your company uses. AI is essentially a junior team member that's available to all of us right now, not just the people with direct reports.
Here's what I'd suggest. Write down everything you do in a typical week. Every task, big and small. Then go through the list and ask yourself: could AI help with this one?
Then for the ones where the answer is yes, go one step further. Don't just ask how AI can do it for you. Ask how AI can help you come up with a better outcome than you'd have managed on your own.
That's where it gets interesting.
Because the point isn't to do less work. It's to free up your time for the higher value stuff. The things that actually move your career forward, hit your KPIs, and make a real difference to your projects.
The people who figure this out early are going to have a serious advantage.
Here's to low-stress success,
James
(P.S. This is something we're seeing come up more and more in project management training. AI isn't replacing project managers. It's giving them more leverage if they know how to use it.)
